Abandoned Fawn
This little guy was abandoned in my backyard one morning. I watched him most of the day. My son brought bread crumbs to him in hopes he would eat them (he didn't). He stayed curled up like this all day with very little movement. I was concerned that if his momma didn't return for him the coyotes we hear almost nightly would surely find him. About 2:45 I brought out a dish of water to him. I went back inside and the next time I looked out the window he was gone. I can only hope that his momma came back for him....we did not hear any coyotes that night, so I am hopeful that he was ok.
